ILJIN Display Co., Ltd. (formerly
ILJIN Diamond Manufacturing Company (Corp.)), which
has occupied the leading position in diamond markets
worldwide, newly established its display division
in 1999 as a R&D center developing an image
element, and this division became the parent company
of the current ILJIN Display Co., Ltd..

| Afterwards, based on accumulated
technologies in this R&D center, we completely
constructed a plant with state-of-the-art facilities
in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, which is now manufacturing
a high temperature polysilicon TFT-LCD Panel and related products, which
is the most important component for producing projectors.
In 2004, to newly establish the ILJIN Diamond Manufacturing
company (Corp.), we divided the diamond division
by the personal division method in which stockholders
are allotted stocks according to the ratio of company
division,. According to this division, ILJIN Display
Co., Ltd., which is the existing corporation, is
now concentrating its efforts on businesses related
to displays. The high temperature polysilicon TFT-LCD
is a product requiring a high level of technological
expertise which is a significant barrier against
technological advances. It is manufactured only
by ILJIN Display Co., Ltd. along with Seiko- |

Epson and Sony company, and with
DLP (Digital Lighting Processing), stands for and Micro Display.
Based on these high-level technologies, we perform a core role
in the miniaturization of projection devices by developing a
single-LCD panel using field sequential color implementation method
for projectors. We have become a front runner in enabling 'projection
in the middle of lives' since our projection function
can be contained in various handheld devices such as a cellular
phone.
